I was facing the bar so I was able to watch our server/bartender make some of my drinks. She definitely took great care in preparing my spirits and presented them beautifully! It was a wonderful experience! I'm so glad we were able to go! Thank you again Paulie! Some of our kids have gone to this restaurant and they couldn’t say enough great things about it! The food was delicious and the presentation was exquisite! Our waitress was so friendly and super attentive!
Omg...this place is amazing. We shared 3 plates.. Crab, scallops and short ribs. Each and every one was delicious. We had plenty to eat between the 2 of us. The drinks were phenomenal
My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day and I have to say this is the best restaurant I’ve ever dined at. The hype is absolutely justified. Everything is perfection, from the cocktails to every detail and flavor on each plate. The concept is small shareable plates, so we got 6 different items to try. We ordered it all at once and they brought it out a few at a time so that the flavors progressed throughout the meal. We tried ricotta gnudi, sausage & grapes, shrimp pozole, seared scallops, stuffed dates, and the wagyu steak special. Everything was so unique & flavorful, unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. My personal top 3 were the wagyu, ricotta gnudi, and the stuffed dates. Everything was cooked perfectly, had many different layers of flavor, and had a great variety of different options to try, whether it be meat, seafood, sides, or sweets. My mouth is still watering just thinking about that food. The cocktails also are next level amazing. Forget about a simple little 2-3 ingredient drink. This is a true mixology bar with 6-8 ingredient drinks. The attention to detail by the staff is awesome and again, the flavors are so complex and unlike anything I’ve ever had. We tried the pomp mule, girl put in work, slow burn, and stargazer. The drinks are neither sweet nor too strong of alcohol, perfectly balanced to sip throughout the meal. It is a tiny restaurant, I’m talking maybe half a dozen tables and a dozen or so bar stools. We sat at the bar, and although it may seemed cramped at first, I thought the seats were well-spaced and we still had plenty of room to spread out our plates. The staff offers to hang up your coat for you and are ao incredibly accommodating to make sure you’re comfortable. They’re always refilling your water and even will give you fresh plates and silverware in between courses. They explain the best way to taste the food on each dish in order to enjoy the flavors to the fullest. It is definitely pricey, we spent about 200 between the two of us plus an additional tip. But you’re not getting just a meal, you’re getting a whole experience, and that is well worth it to me. I am so happy that a restaurant like this exists not too far away from me and I’m already wanting to go back. The overwhelming amount of 5 star reviews speak for themselves.
This is place is a hidden gem. Everything was phenomenal. The service, the food, and cocktails were amazing! Definitely check this place out if you live in Cleveland!
Absolutely everything was incredible! The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable. The drinks and food were all made to perfection. If you want to take your taste buds on a culinary journey, this is the place to do it! Be adventurous! I had the Grilled Octopus, and Pork Belly. And my drinks were Lost Highway, and Say My Name.
What a cool find! This restaurant was recommended to me by a co-worker. It was a longer than usual drive due to really bad weather. We were so glad we still went. Wow! The staff is great about explaining everything. The bartenders make amazing cocktails - they make many of their own mixers which were delicious. The food was outstanding. I was very impressed at how the bartender coursed our meal. She had it planned out perfectly so that it made the most sense, since they are small plates. Every plate was amazing. Truly. We will definitely go back to try more!
My husband and I went to dinner to celebrate Valentine's day and it was outstanding! We sat at the bar for dinner and had Shitake Mushrooms, olives for appetizer and Short Rib and Venison for dinner. It is so great the smaller shareable plates and just the right amount. We had stuffed figs for dessert. The service was great Cocktails and wine delicious too! thank you :)
The Pompadour carries many outstanding Google reviews… This is a continuation of those great reviews, and where I fully recommend The Pompadour as the best spot to enjoy unique and delicious “small plates“ in NEO… it’s a small, cozy and casual atmosphere that has an outstanding group of talented staff and chefs… and also they have a “secret sauce“ in their bar mixologists! Only open three days a week, and I highly recommend you make reservations… Besides our crafted cocktails, we 1,000 percent again enjoyed our small plates… tonight we picked the stuffed dates, squash and brussel sprouts, sausage and grapes, crab salad, and short rib. Some of these plates sound like crazy concoctions, but they are delight to the palate. If you live in Northeast Ohio, you need to go to Fairport Harbor and try The Pompadour!
